What a busy April we had! Thanks to all the many folks from all over the continent that stayed with us over the past several weeks. A special thanks to those of you who took the time to chat with the staff. It is a great treat to all of us to create long lasting relationships with our guests. And a REALLY big thanks to those of you who were so generous with the many gifts we received from very thoughtful folks. You truly spoil us!

Wine Down Thursdays continue to be our busiest day of the week. This has been a local haunt as they know the great value of food and wine that we provide weekly.  It isn’t just our wine lovers, either. We have just as many people ordering from our new dinner menu as we have ordering from our wine pairing menus. It is always a great time no matter how you decide to eat on Thursdays. Tell a friend how much fun we are having up here on Groundhog Mountain. They’ll be glad they came.

Next week is Mother’s Day! What better way to show Mom how much you love her than to take her to Maples Restaurant at Olde Mill for a delicious brunch?! Even my mother is flying in from Chicago for this one. Be sure to get your reservations in soon, as this event always packs the house.

“Show” Mom just how much she means to you by taking her out for a wonderful brunch and a show this Mother’s Day at Maples Restaurant and Tavern.  In our contiued effort to bring our guests top notch entertainment, we have booked one of this area’s most talented musical groups, The Treblemakers! This show will feature a classic pop revue of songs from the 50s and 60s which feature soaring vocals and tight harmonies from an all girl quartet.  These are the songs that everyone knows and loves like, “Midnight Train to Georgia”, “One Fine Day”, and “Baby Love”.  This will sure to put a smile on Mom’s face as she enjoys a day of food, music, and family.

Tickets are only $10.  The show will start just after our Sunday brunch. Make your reservations to join us for brunch from 11-2 pm on Sunday.
