What better time to visit the mountains than fall??  The leaves changing from green to red & yellow, days are warm, nights are cool, clear blue skies, pumpkins, mums, unlimited festivals…..the list goes on and on!!  If you have never witnessed the fall foliage here in the mountains then you are missing something special, but you’d better hurry, the leaves won’t last much longer!  For the golfers, course construction is complete and the updates are amazing!  If you haven’t played our course in the last 6 weeks, you really need to put it on your schedule of things to do before winter–you will be happy you did!  For the non-golfers, this area offers so much any time of the year, but especially in the fall.  At any given time, you can find live music, arts & crafts festivals, autumn leaves festivals, wine festivals…If the festival scene isn’t for you, we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the best hiking trails and state parks that Virginia has to offer.  Imagine a hike to the top of Buffalo Mountain to enjoy the beautiful fall colors!  Winter is just around the corner, so plan your visit now!  You will be thankful you did!
